How do I clean your products?

Over time your products may become slick from sweat and grime collected during workouts. To clean them, scrub with a rag dipped in warm soapy water. Make sure to dry everything thoroughly.

My Perfect Pushup isn't turning smoothly. What are my options?

PERFECT iQ APP

My iQ Band is not syncing with the Perfect iQ app for iOS. What do I do?

Requirements (check these first):

  1. Please check the following:
    1. Have you activated your iQ Band?
    2. Make sure the battery is charged.
    3. Make sure the iQ Band is turned ON.
    4. Make sure the iQ Band is not in sleep mode.
  2. This app requires iOS 7.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch; this app is optimized for iPhone 5.
  3. Please make sure Bluetooth® is turned ON (in iOS Settings).

Troubleshooting:

  1. Make sure your device is paired.
  2. Make sure your iPhone® / iPad® is not in Airplane Mode. Devices in Airplane Mode will likely disable Bluetooth® to conserve power. You can view this by going in your device Settings.
  3. Close & reopen the app:
    Double-click the home button on your phone and close the app (by swiping up), then reopen the app and try again.
  4. Restart your phone & try again.

My iQ Band is not syncing with the Perfect iQ app for Android. What do I do?

Requirements (check these first):

  1. Please check the following:
    1. Have you activated your iQ Band?
    2. Make sure the battery is charged.
    3. Make sure the iQ Band is turned ON.
    4. Make sure the iQ Band is not in sleep mode.
  2. The Perfect iQ app and corresponding Perfect Fitness® products are optimized to work with most Androiddevices that are running on API level 18 and up or version 4.3 and up.
  3. Please make sure Bluetooth® is turned ON (in your Android device Settings).

Troubleshooting:

  1. Make sure your device is paired.
  2. Force quit your Perfect iQ app.
    If you don't know how to force quit apps on your Android device, consult your device's User Manual for more information. You may need to repair your device to the app after a force quit.
  3. Make sure your Android device is not in Power Saving Mode (Airplane Mode). Devices in Power Saving Mode (Airplane Mode) will likely disable Bluetooth® to conserve power. You can view this by going in your device Settings.
  4. Restart your phone & try again.

How do I know if my Android device is compatible?

The Perfect iQ app and corresponding Perfect Fitness® products are optimized to work with most Android™ devices that are running on API level 18 and up or version 4.3 and up.
For most Android devices, you can find the API level your phone/tablet is running on by clicking into your device Settings.

Once in Settings, scroll to the icon titled “About Device” or “About Phone / Tablet,” then click on the specified icon; you should see a tab titled “Android Version.” As long as that tab displays version 4.3 and up or level 18 and up, your device should be compatible.

If a phone or tablet is running on a version lower than API level 18 / Version 4.3 and a connection is attempted, you will see the following message: “We apologize, but your device does not support Bluetooth Low Energy.”

iQ Band + App: First Time Setup

New to Perfect iQ? Follow these simple instructions:

  1. Install the Perfect iQ app.
  2. Set up your user profile.

iQ Band + App: Advanced Setup (recommended)

You installed the Perfect iQ app and your iQ Band is PAIRED. Congratulations! For an even better experience, we recommend that you review all of your customizable settings. Here’s how:

  1. Click on the Navigation Drawer icon (three bars in top, left corner)
  2. Click on Settings
  3. You should see the following options:
    • - Profile
    • - General Settings
    • - Daily Goals
    • - Watch Display

Let’s start by checking to make sure our PROFILE is correct. Click on PROFILE.

  1. You setup this information during your FIRST TIME SETUP, so the options should look familiar:
    • - Name
    • - Height
    • - Weight
    • - Gender
    • - Birthday
    • - Email
  2. Review and revise as needed, then click the back arrow (< in top, left corner) to return to Settings Menu.

Now, let’s set your GENERAL SETTINGS. We have already helped by setting defaults in the app, but you can review and revise to suit your needs.

  1. Display Units
    • - Imperial (ft / lbs)
    • - Metric (cm / kg)
  2. Athletic Type
    • - Normal
    • - Athletic
  3. Time Format
    • - 12 Hour
    • - 24 Hour (aka military time)
  4. Wrist (on which wrist you wear your band?)
    • - Left
    • - Right
  5. Auto Stride Length
    • - On
    • - Off

    NOTE: The app and band are set with Auto Stride turned on. Your height and gender help us estimate your stride length. If, after using your iQ Band for a few days, you feel like your step count and distance are not very accurate, you can adjust your stride length.

  6. Auto Sleep Mode
    • - On
    • - Off

    NOTE: If you commonly go to sleep and wake up around the same time each day, you may want to use the auto sleep function. You select the sleep times via your app and your total sleep time will display in your sleep report the next day.

  7. Auto Sleep Mode
    • - On (a beep will sound each time you press the button on your iQ Band)
    • - Off
  8. Alarm 1 – Alarm 3
  9. NOTE: The iQ Band allow you to set three individual daily alarms. To activate, simply switch alarm(s) ON and set the desired time(s). The ACTIVE alarms will sound daily at the specified time unless turned OFF in the app.

    • - On (set desired time)
    • - Off

Now it’s time to set your DAILY GOALS. We have already helped by setting defaults in the app, but you can review and revise to suit your needs. Remember, when first starting your exercise routine, you should set small goals and increase them.

  1. Weight Goal
  2. Body Fat Goal
  3. Steps Goal
  4. Calories Goal
  5. Distance Goal
  6. Sleep Goal

Finally, it’s time to set your WATCH DISPLAY. You can customize the displays that you view on your iQ Band by turning these options on / off.

  1. Track Goal
    • - Which value do you want the GOAL METER to appear on (see the Goal Meter section of your iQ Band User Guide for reference)?
